About the role

The Engineering Manager leads software and engineering teams to deliver high‑quality products that align with business goals. This role blends technical leadership, team management, and project coordination to ensure successful execution of engineering initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee planning, development, and delivery of engineering projects while meeting technical standards, timelines, and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical execution plans.
• Lead, mentor, and grow engineering teams, fostering effective cross‑functional collaboration.
• Establish and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and development processes.
• Participate in architecture discussions, system design reviews, and technical decision‑making.
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, sprint planning, and identify/remove blockers.
• Handle performance management, hiring support, and build high‑performing engineering teams.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in software engineering or systems development.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing technical projects.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives, prioritize work, and allocate resources effectively.
