Engineering Manager

About the role

KrisShop is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a talented team in delivering robust, scalable web and mobile solutions for its omni‑channel e‑commerce platform. You will shape technical vision, oversee the full software development lifecycle and ensure security‑by‑design across all products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a high‑performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale projects, ensuring timely execution, quality and alignment with business objectives.
• Drive adoption of modern SDLC practices, including Gen‑AI, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews and automated testing.
• Architect and oversee development of scalable microservices, web and mobile applications (iOS/Android) using React, Node.js and payment technologies.
• Ensure seamless API and system‑to‑system integration across enterprise platforms.
• Champion cloud DevOps processes (AWS, Azure, Jenkins, Docker) and maintain robust infrastructure, monitoring and security.
• Act as a gatekeeper for security‑by‑design, guaranteeing compliance with enterprise security policies.
• Collaborate with product, QA, UX/UI and infrastructure teams to manage dependencies, risks and release planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of hands‑on technical experience with at least 3 years in engineering management or technical leadership.
• Proven track record managing and scaling engineering teams in fast‑paced, enterprise‑level e‑commerce environments.
• Strong expertise in SDLC, Gen‑AI, CI/CD, microservices, React and mobile technologies.
• Deep hands‑on experience with API integration and system‑to‑system connectivity.
• Demonstrated ability to enforce security‑by‑design and drive technical excellence.
