Engineering Technician – Building Maintenance

About the role

The Engineering Technician will ensure that our building’s mechanical, electrical and facility systems operate smoothly. This junior‑level position involves routine upkeep, preventive checks and quick response to any issues that arise.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain heating, lighting and ventilation systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Carry out general maintenance tasks such as painting, wall patching, plumbing repairs, air‑conditioning servicing and electrical switch/fixture upkeep.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance inspections.
• Inspect and monitor building machinery and equipment regularly.
• Report any security or asset‑related concerns promptly.
• Follow emergency response procedures and support evacuation efforts.
• Undertake additional related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of relevant maintenance experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of building mechanical and electrical (M&E) maintenance.
• Ability to work independently on general repair and maintenance tasks.
