Enterprise Account Executive

About the role

Chainguard is seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Account Executive to drive sales of its secure, production‑ready open‑source solutions. You will build relationships with key decision‑makers, evangelize secure software development, and help Fortune‑500 customers accelerate delivery while staying compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute sales plans for the assigned territory.
• Convey Chainguard’s value proposition and product differentiators to prospects and customers.
• Forecast, meet, and exceed quota through inbound and outbound lead generation.
• Develop and manage a leads funnel, tracking opportunities via CRM and supporting tools.
• Collaborate with product, support, and sales engineering teams to improve the sales cycle.
• Maintain competitive market awareness and articulate differences from rival offerings.

Required profile

• 8+ years of SaaS or security sales experience.
• Domain expertise in compute platforms, DevOps tooling, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Consistent record of over‑achieving sales targets.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel to client sites when needed.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic.
