Entry-Level Accounts Assistant (Contract)

About the role

This is a six‑month contract position (renewable) for an entry‑level Accounts Assistant based at our office in Marina Bay, Singapore. You will report to the Senior Accountant and support the accounts payable function while gaining exposure to SAP‑like systems and compliance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices, matching them with purchase orders and goods receipts to meet SOX and GST requirements.
• Perform monthly supplier reconciliations and generate debit memos for returned goods.
• Cross‑check invoice postings for accuracy and completeness.
• Liaise with buyers and suppliers to resolve on‑hold invoice issues.
• Support automation initiatives and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Assist with ad‑hoc finance projects as required.

Required profile

• Diploma in Accounting with 1‑2 years of relevant experience, preferably in accounts payable.
• Entry‑level candidates with internship experience are welcome.
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
