Entry Level Desktop Engineer – Healthcare

About the role

This entry‑level position supports desktop and laptop environments within a healthcare setting. The role focuses on troubleshooting, incident response, and ensuring service continuity for client platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting for desktop, laptop, and client platform issues.
• Respond promptly to incidents, delivering temporary or permanent resolutions.
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders and handle service requests.
• Monitor service levels, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Maintain and document system configurations and reports.
• Support implementation and upgrade projects for client platforms.
• Manage system changes through formal change‑request processes.
• Offer technical support and advice to users or project teams.
• Research and evaluate client platform tools and systems.
• Gather infrastructure and business requirements for implementation and support.
• Propose and implement improvement plans when required.
• Adhere to operational standards, best practices, and perform any ad‑hoc duties related to the role.

Required profile

• Diploma (NITEC/Higher NITEC) in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Willingness to work in a healthcare environment.
• Prior experience in desktop or IT support is an advantage.
