Equipment Technician / Technologist (FAB)

About the role

We are looking for an Equipment Technician / Technologist to join our FAB (fabrication) team. The role focuses on ensuring high equipment uptime through effective troubleshooting, maintenance, and coordination with process and vendor teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform first‑line troubleshooting for equipment‑related issues.
• Execute scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance and post‑PM process recovery.
• Maintain equipment uptime by liaising with process control teams and equipment vendors to resolve escalations and SPC deviations.
• Collaborate with process module development, process control, and vendor teams to ensure flawless operation.
• Support internal ISO audits as required.
• Work independently on shift schedules.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of semiconductor equipment engineering experience, preferably with Etch, PVD or PECVD tools.
• Strong systematic and logical thinking.
• Effective communication across departments at any technical level.
• Self‑starter, independent and self‑motivated.
