Equities Operations Analyst (1 Year Contract)

About the role

A global leading investment bank, offering investment banking, securities, asset management and wealth management services, is looking for an Equities Operations Analyst to start on a 1-year contract. The role supports the end-to-end trade lifecycle for equity products, working closely with Front Office (traders, sales), Middle Office, Operations, Risk and external counterparties to mitigate operational risk and ensure smooth execution of equity transactions across regional and global markets. The contract has chances of extension or conversion.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day processing of equity trades.
• Ensure accurate trade capture and validation in internal systems.
• Manage trade confirmations, affirmations and settlements within defined timelines.
• Investigate and resolve trade breaks, settlement discrepancies and cash/position mismatches.
• Escalate unresolved exceptions promptly to minimise financial and operational risk.
• Adhere to operational controls, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in identifying process inefficiencies, control gaps and operational risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Open to candidates with no prior experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
