Event Management Manager

About the role

The Event Management Manager is responsible for preparing event documentation, coordinating with sales, property departments, and customers, and ensuring a seamless experience throughout the pre‑event, event, and post‑event phases. This role focuses on events of average complexity and aims to maximize revenue through up‑selling and enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage event logistics and operations, including billing accuracy, group room blocks, and meeting space allocation.
• Provide exceptional customer service, act as liaison between sales and customers, and handle guest issues and feedback.
• Lead pre‑event and post‑event meetings, coordinate with property staff, and ensure smooth hand‑off to the Event Operations team.
• Support sales and marketing by assisting in the sales process, forecasting room and event revenue, and up‑selling products and services.
• Conduct human‑resources activities such as reviewing guest satisfaction results, providing employee feedback, and assisting with corrective action plans.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of event management experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with at least 1 year of experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to solve operational challenges, and a customer‑focused mindset.
