Events Manager

About the role

The Events Manager will lead the planning and execution of a diverse portfolio of meetings, conferences, summits and member‑engagement events across the Americas, APAC and EMEA. Reporting to the Vice President of Events, the role combines strategic coordination with hands‑on operational leadership to deliver high‑quality attendee experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute assigned events from initial planning through post‑event evaluation.
• Manage registration platforms, attendee communications, event websites and reporting dashboards.
• Lead logistics for meetings, summits, Communities of Interest, executive and member events, including venue, supplier and service‑provider relationships.
• Oversee speaker logistics, session scheduling and overall event production requirements.
• Track and reconcile event budgets, purchase orders and invoices.
• Develop detailed timelines, project plans and run‑of‑show documents.
• Analyze event metrics and attendee feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Membership, Marketing, Threat Intelligence, Technology, Finance and Executive Leadership teams.
• Provide onsite leadership and problem‑solving during events.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of experience in event management, meeting planning, nonprofit association management, hospitality or a related field.
• Proven track record supporting conferences, large‑scale meetings or similar events.
• Experience managing vendors, contracts and event budgets.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to work independently and meet multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including occasional evenings and weekends.
