About the role
The Executive Chef will lead the culinary operations across all ALSHIFA locations in Singapore. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality dishes while maintaining cost efficiency and strict hygiene standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the entire kitchen operation, including chefs, cooks and support staff.
- Plan menus, develop recipes and oversee daily food production.
- Ensure food quality, taste, presentation and consistency for every service.
- Monitor food costs, portion sizes and waste, and implement cost‑control measures.
- Check stock levels, coordinate with suppliers and manage ingredient inventory.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness in line with regulations.
- Train, mentor and guide kitchen staff, and plan staff schedules and duties.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager and senior management on operational matters.
- Innovate new dishes and continuously improve existing menus.
