Executive Manager (Internal Audit Division)

About the role

The National Environment Agency (NEA) is looking for an experienced audit professional to join its Internal Audit Division as an Executive Manager. You will lead audit engagements that support Singapore’s environmental sustainability agenda, applying data‑driven techniques to deliver insights that matter.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute financial, compliance and sustainability audits across NEA, from risk assessment to follow‑up on action plans.
• Independently manage smaller to mid‑complexity audit engagements, identifying risks and control gaps.
• Assist in managing outsourced internal audit services.
• Support ad‑hoc investigations, projects and Audit Committee meetings.
• Apply data analytics, business intelligence and visualisation tools to enhance audit insights.

Required profile

• Professional qualification in Accountancy or related field with at least six years of internal or external audit experience.
• Strong foundation in governance, risk and controls.
• Professional certifications such as CA (Singapore) or CIA are advantageous; IT audit experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Critical, independent mindset and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
