Executive Procure-2-Pay (Invoice Conversion)

About the role

Singapore Airlines is hiring an Executive Procure-2-Pay for its Project Polaris team within the Finance Division. The role ensures that the invoice conversion team turns the many different invoice formats received from the airline's 80+ stations into the format required by the system, so that downstream Accounts Payable can perform 3-way matching.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the conversion team and ensure conversions are efficient.
• Act as a bridge so that invoice formats are converted enough for the Accounts Payable team to carry out 3-way matching.
• Handle complex invoices and those arising from operational issues such as diversion and AOG.
• Work with product owners, process owners and ITD to onboard conversion logic into an organisation-wide tool and adopt a consistent technique and tools.
• Reduce the number of invoices requiring human intervention to complete 3-way matching.
• Make sure the end-to-end process involving the coding team, stations, invoice conversion team and Accounts Payable team works as intended, balancing team needs for net efficiency across the chain.

Required profile

• University degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience, or equivalent practical project experience, using AI/LLM and data or programming tools to support process improvement.
• Preferred: exposure to business, accounting or finance processes such as invoice processing, accounts payable or financial data.
• Able to negotiate, articulate problem statements and work with offshore teams.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of LLM prompt engineering, Python, data wrangling and databases.
• Intermediate Python, with the ability to wrangle, validate and transform data; familiarity with NoSQL and unstructured data.
• Able to write, test and refine AI/LLM prompts, understand their limitations, validate results and apply workarounds.
