Executive/Senior Executive (Revenue) - Accounts Receivable

About the role

This is a contract position within the Finance team, handling Accounts Receivable functions. The successful candidate will be employed on an 11-month contract basis, and only shortlisted candidates will be notified.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily bank reconciliation and escalate discrepancies that may indicate underlying system issues to IT or system vendors.
• Attend regular meetings with IT and external vendors and provide Finance's operational input.
• Assist in troubleshooting system issues affecting day-to-day Finance operations and help investigate and resolve them with IT and vendors.
• Review system workflows and highlight gaps or control issues for follow-up.
• Provide ground-level operational support for cross-functional system and process improvement initiatives.
• Monitor system interfaces, identify failed or incomplete transmissions and follow up with IT and vendors to ensure timely resolution.

Required profile

• Area of study in Accounting or other relevant professional qualifications.
• Good analytical skills and strong accounting knowledge.
• Independent, confident, meticulous, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, good team player, willing to take on challenges and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• IT programming skills are an added advantage.
• Experience with Workday is preferred.
