About the role
The Fab Production Control Engineer is responsible for managing customer order intake, inventory, and wafer start planning to meet shipment goals. You will act as a liaison between manufacturing, engineering, hardware, quality and other teams to resolve issues and ensure on‑time delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Manage customer orders, commitments, on‑time delivery (OTD) and CLIP metrics.
- Create and maintain customer work orders and oversee inventory to meet contractual agreements.
- Develop and implement wafer start plans, coordinating with Manufacturing, Engineering, Hardware and IE.
- Liaise with cross‑functional teams to resolve RMA issues and ensure accurate system data.
- Analyze production data, generate management reports, and maintain lot start criteria.
Required profile
- Experience with semiconductor fabrication operations (preferred).
- Understanding of how related teams coordinate resources to achieve objectives.
- Ability to lead or guide junior team members and allocate work.
- Strong problem‑solving judgment to address novel issues.
Required skills
- Proficiency in SAP software.
