Facilities & Building Executive – Commercial Buildings

About the role

The Facilities & Building Executive will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of commercial properties, ensuring that all building systems, services and amenities are maintained to the highest standards. This role supports tenant satisfaction, safety compliance, and efficient building performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of building areas, fire protection facilities and common spaces, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Manage daily building operations including security, housekeeping, landscaping, waste management, lifts, parking, irrigation and fire & life safety systems.
• Oversee booking, usage and upkeep of shared facilities and amenities.
• Coordinate contractors to ensure maintenance tasks meet agreed schedules and service standards.
• Work with M&E teams on inspections, testing and commissioning during tenant fit‑outs and reinstatements.
• Participate in emergency preparedness, fire drills and emergency response activities.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring operational and capital expenditure budgets.
• Liaise with tenants, contractors, consultants and external parties for upgrade projects.
• Support contract administration, procurement, performance monitoring and record‑keeping.
• Provide prompt tenant support, resolve operational issues and offer after‑hours emergency assistance.

Required profile

• Diploma in Building Management, Facilities Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong ability to engage effectively with tenants, contractors, service providers and other stakeholders.
