Facilities Executive

About the role

The Facilities Executive will oversee the maintenance and upkeep of hotel facilities, ensuring guest rooms, corridors and public areas meet the brand’s high standards. You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate external contractors, and support the Assistant Manager in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corrective maintenance, directing technicians on urgent repairs and recording all work in Maximo.
• Implement preventive maintenance programmes for guest rooms, corridors, finishes, fit‑outs and furniture.
• Supervise external contract work, ensuring compliance with specifications and minimal disruption to hotel operations.
• Lead, train and allocate tasks to a team of technicians, reviewing performance and safety compliance.
• Assist the Assistant Manager with manpower planning, resource allocation and stand‑in duties during emergencies.
• Enforce workplace safety and health (WSH) programs and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Required profile

• Diploma, NITEC or relevant certification in facilities management; CERT qualification is a plus.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in a hotel facilities department covering ACMV, plumbing or electrical disciplines.
• Ability to work outdoors and adapt to varying environmental conditions.
