Facilities Management Manager (Boon Lay)

About the role

The Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) Manager leads all mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems and non‑technical facilities services at the SJ Campus in Boon Lay. The role ensures reliability, safety, regulatory compliance and an excellent workplace experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of M&E and soft‑service executives, technicians and external specialists; plan manpower and evaluate performance.
• Oversee operation, maintenance and performance of all M&E assets, implementing preventive and corrective programmes.
• Manage soft services such as cleaning, pest control, landscaping, waste management and security, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Ensure statutory compliance (fire code, electrical safety, BCA, energy code) and coordinate inspections, audits and certifications.
• Manage vendors and contracts for technical maintenance, evaluate performance and participate in procurement.
• Monitor utilities consumption, support sustainability initiatives and pursue Green Mark or similar certifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading M&E and facilities service teams.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, fire safety regulations and BCA requirements.
• Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation and procurement processes.
• Ability to analyse energy usage and drive sustainability projects.
