Facilities Trainee – Warehouse Operations (6 months)

About the role

foodpanda is looking for a Facilities Trainee to support the daily operations of its Pandamart warehouses in Singapore. This 6‑month position offers hands‑on experience in warehouse maintenance, safety compliance and facility management within a fast‑growing on‑demand delivery business.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, maintenance and upkeep across all Pandamart facilities.
• Manage annual electrical licensing and renewal of other required permits.
• Source contractors, obtain quotations and review maintenance contracts.
• Coordinate A&A works, renovation projects and, where applicable, SFA licensing applications.
• Ensure warehouse performance meets agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to achieve operational goals.
• Manage Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) procedures, conduct periodic risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Monitor implementation of policies, procedures and work standards.
• Coordinate periodic facility maintenance and report issues to the Realty Facility Manager.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping and workplace safety standards.
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or certificate in facilities management, fire safety, or workplace health and safety (preferred).
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with safety, health and environmental regulations applicable to real‑estate and property management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors.
