F&B Operations Manager (GCW)

About the role

The F&B Operations Manager will oversee all food and beverage outlets and banquet operations, ensuring compliance with brand concepts, company policies and local regulations. Reporting to the F&B Director, the role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on management during peak periods.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure each outlet operates efficiently according to concept statements and governing policies.
• Monitor service and food standards, directing corrective actions with Outlet Managers, Banquet Operations Manager and Head Chefs.
• Conduct regular kitchen inspections and be on‑duty during high‑traffic periods.
• Handle guest and employee inquiries courteously, escalating complaints as needed.
• Maintain strong guest relationships and resolve service issues promptly.
• Drive workforce flexibility through multi‑skilling and optimise resource allocation.
• Manage each outlet as an independent profit centre, analysing daily revenue and recommending promotions.
• Prepare accurate monthly forecasts for covers, average check, revenue and expenses.
• Update departmental operation manuals and ensure compliance with Food & Beverage Safety and Hygiene policies.

Required profile

• Diploma, degree or professional certificate in Hotel Management or Food & Beverage Management.
• Relevant WSQ qualifications, including Food & Beverage Safety and Hygiene.
• 3‑4 years of managerial experience in the Food & Beverage or hotel industry.
