Field Quality Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Field Quality Engineer to improve service quality, customer satisfaction and equipment reliability across our installed base. The role links field service teams, engineering, manufacturing and quality organizations to identify recurring issues, drive root‑cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze field service data, customer feedback and equipment performance trends to identify quality improvement opportunities.
• Lead root‑cause investigations and corrective actions for recurring product and service issues.
• Partner with field service, engineering, manufacturing, customer quality and supplier quality teams to resolve complex technical problems.
• Develop and track quality metrics, dashboards and action plans to drive continuous improvement.
• Support customer escalations through technical analysis, structured problem solving and cross‑functional issue resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering, field service engineering or related technical role.
• Proven experience leading root‑cause investigations and corrective actions.

Required skills

• ASQ certification.
• Lean Six Sigma methodology.
• Knowledge of quality management systems.
