Finance & Controlling Intern

About the role

LVMH's Controlling team in Singapore is looking for a motivated and analytical Finance & Controlling Intern. Reporting to the Regional Finance Executive, the intern supports month-end closings, financial reporting, variance analysis and budget tracking, gaining hands-on experience in financial management within a luxury goods environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the monthly closing process, including accruals, prepayments, P&L reviews and order processing
• Support month-end sellout data cleaning and upload to the centralised platform, and refresh operating expense trackers
• Prepare monthly reports for management reporting
• Support annual budgeting and periodic re-forecasting, and monitor operating and capital expenditure against budgets
• Analyse financial performance by department or cost centre and share insights with operational managers
• Carry out ad-hoc financial analysis and business case modelling
• Help optimise controlling tools, templates and reporting automation, and ensure compliance with internal controls and group financial policies

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field, or a recent graduate
• Able to commit from January 2027 to June 2027 on a full-time basis
• Prior internship experience in corporate finance, controlling, audit or investment banking is strongly preferred
• Proactive, autonomous and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment, with good communication skills with non-finance stakeholders

Required skills

• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel (XLOOKUP, pivot tables)
• Familiarity with SAP, Sage300, Board or Power BI/Power Query is a strong plus
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/local GAAP)
