Finance Intern (FP&A) – Perfumes & Cosmetics

About the role

LVMH F&C Singapore (LFCS) handles seven perfume and cosmetics brands of the LVMH group (Christian Dior, Guerlain, MAKE UP FOR EVER, Benefit, Givenchy, Kenzo and Fresh) and brings together logistics, production, quality, commercial and back-office activities for Singapore and the Asia region. This internship offers exposure to financial planning and analysis within the beauty business.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely month-end closing for transportation and logistics activities, monitor and control associated costs, and give booking instructions to the accounting team.
• Analyse the main variances compared with last year and the budget.
• Evaluate brand profitability by analysing monthly profit and loss statements.
• Prepare monthly reporting for Brands Management.
• Review controlling procedures and update them where needed.
• Streamline reporting processes and help organise access to data.
• Maintain effective communication with third parties and carry out ad hoc analysis and project follow-up.

Required profile

• Able to commit to a 6-month internship (December 26/January 27 to June/July 27).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, analytical mind and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Team player, system-oriented, adaptable and flexible to changing business needs.

Required skills

• Excel is required.
• Experience with SAP and Power BI is a plus.
