Finance Manager / Accounting Manager

About the role

Sika (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sika AG in Singapore, is looking for a Finance Manager / Accounting Manager based in Tuas. The role supports the Financial Controller in keeping financial records accurate, internal controls effective, reporting timely and statutory and group requirements met. It is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Act as operational lead for the monthly closing process, accounting activities, audit support, financial schedules and day-to-day coordination of the Finance team.
• Review work prepared by Finance team members, resolve accounting and control issues and escalate significant matters to the Financial Controller.
• Strengthen backup coverage and succession capability across accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, costing and finance operations.
• Ensure accounting records and supporting documentation are complete, accurate and retained in line with company requirements.
• Support the preparation and finalisation of annual financial statements and statutory accounts.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or similar Accounting and Finance qualifications.
• CPA, ACCA or related qualification is an advantage.
• Experience leading an accounting team, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SAP S4 is an advantage.
