Finance Manager

About the role

The client is an established international trust and fiduciary services firm seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations for its Singapore and Hong Kong entities. This hands‑on regional role involves reporting, budgeting, cash‑flow management, statutory compliance and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full set of accounts and day‑to‑day financial operations for the Singapore and Hong Kong entities.
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements, coordinating with the Group Finance team on regional reporting.
• Analyse financial performance and provide insights to senior management.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities, including regular reviews.
• Manage cash flow, billing, debt collection and banking matters across the entities.
• Coordinate external audits and tax matters, preparing schedules and responding to queries.
• Maintain internal controls, accounting processes and the fixed‑asset register.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant of Singapore (CA Singapore) qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in trust, fiduciary or professional services.
• Experience managing full sets of accounts across multiple entities or jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore tax, payroll and statutory compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar accounting systems.
• Ability to use accounting software for bank transactions, reconciliations and journal entries.
