Finance Manager – Finance Operations & Controllership

About the role

Join Surbana Jurong’s Finance team in Singapore as a Finance Manager overseeing finance operations and controllership. You will ensure accurate accounting, statutory compliance, and provide financial insight to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations for a portfolio of companies.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing, balance‑sheet reconciliations, cash‑flow statements, and bank reconciliations.
• Allocate and bill corporate costs to related entities.
• Coordinate statutory audits and prepare financial statements.
• Handle tax matters, including quarterly GST filing and corporate tax.
• Review intercompany reconciliations and ensure no month‑end discrepancies.
• Liaise with AR/AP shared services, Group Finance, Treasury, Tax and internal auditors.
• Provide financial insight, monitor cash flows and support management decision‑making.
• Develop and improve financial processes, policies and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accountancy; professional accounting certification preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Prior external audit experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
