Finance Manager, Southeast Asia

About the role

Abbott's ID Infectious Disease division is hiring a Finance Manager for Southeast Asia, based in Singapore. The role consolidates and reports sales, P&L and balance sheet results (actuals and forecasts) across the region, acts as a close finance business partner to business leaders, supports day-to-day finance operations and ensures compliance with corporate financial policies.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate and report actual and forecast results for ID SEA (Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos) with the regional controller and general manager
• Support month-end and year-end closing with the shared services and controller teams, including actual reporting, credit control and payments
• Monitor cash conversion cycle and credit management across SEA markets
• Manage distributors: renewals and appointments, inventory, credit and margin claims
• Track end-customer sales (primary, secondary, inventory) across SEA markets
• Provide financial analysis and decision support, and prepare financial business plans
• Ensure data integrity, GAAP compliance and adherence to Abbott accounting policies
• Ensure global compliance with customs, anti-boycott, embargo and trade control laws
• Review sales incentive calculations with local HR and develop two direct reports

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accountancy or a related subject
• Minimum 15+ years of business controlling experience in a multinational, customer-oriented environment (FP&A experience highly advantageous)
