Finance Operations (Processing) Specialist – Contract (Banking)

About the role

This contract position supports the finance team of a banking client in Singapore, focusing on vendor invoice processing and related general ledger activities. You will work on a six‑month engagement at the Raffles Place office, ensuring timely payments and compliance with tax and archival requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices for payment and post to the general ledger.
• Handle tax requirements associated with invoice processing.
• Prepare general ledger reconciliations and expense reports.
• Ensure compliance with archival and monthly closing procedures.
• Participate in system functionality enhancements and policy development.
• Contribute to process‑improvement projects and other finance initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree with 1‑2 years of relevant banking experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with finance, risk, and compliance teams.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Accounts Payable knowledge.
• Experience with financial systems and general ledger processes.

What we offer

• Monthly salary up to SGD 4,000.
• Six‑month fixed‑term contract.
