Key responsibilities

• Spearhead end‑to‑end regional financial consolidation, ensuring precise alignment of intercompany transactions and financial data across multiple international entities.
• Act as the primary liaison for external assurance partners, managing full‑cycle statutory reporting and compliance while continuously improving reporting quality.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise on sophisticated technical accounting frameworks, advising leadership on the financial implications of new ventures, corporate development initiatives and specialised financial instruments.
• Oversee cross‑border tax compliance and transfer‑pricing strategies, monitoring the corporate tax landscape to mitigate exposure and protect the organisation’s multi‑jurisdictional footprint.
• Champion modernisation of internal financial controls by leveraging advanced automation frameworks to optimise month‑end workflows and support scalable growth.

Required profile

• Robust foundation in financial controllership with a proven track record of navigating complex regional structures.
• Recognised professional accounting qualification and ten or more years of post‑qualification experience, including significant exposure to group consolidations.
• Advanced proficiency in complex international financial reporting standards, especially revenue recognition and financial asset classification.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑border external audits and ensure strict adherence to regional regulatory reporting frameworks.
• Exceptional written and verbal stakeholder management skills for drafting board‑level materials, technical memos and regulatory correspondence.
