Fitness Centre & Spa Receptionist

About the role

The Fitness Centre & Spa Receptionist provides front‑desk support for guests using the spa and fitness facilities at our Marina Bay location. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth scheduling, payment processing, and a welcoming experience.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule individual and group services using the spa reservation system.
• Confirm appointments with guests via phone and answer service‑related inquiries.
• Update reservation and cancellation lists throughout the day and communicate changes to service providers.
• Check‑in guests, verify identity, and provide a brief orientation of spa facilities.
• Promote and sell spa and salon services, handling cash and card payments accurately.
• Log cash tips, balance receipts, and forward documentation to Accounting.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, or unsafe conditions to the manager.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies.
• Assist guests with disabilities and ensure a courteous, helpful demeanor.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related experience; no supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
