Food & Beverage Agent – The Roof

About the role

The Singapore EDITION is seeking a friendly and attentive Food & Beverage Agent to work at The Roof, its rooftop dining venue. In this full-time position you will deliver high-quality service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests, adhering to service standards.
• Set and arrange tables according to event type and venue specifications.
• Answer guest inquiries about menu selections and communicate special dietary requirements to the kitchen.
• Record orders and process payments using the MICROS point-of-sale system.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the service and address any issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware and dining equipment.
• Complete closing duties such as restocking, turning off lights and presenting accurate checks.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, including uniform standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant food-and-beverage service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS POS system for order entry and payment processing.
