Food & Beverage Assistant

About the role

The Food & Beverage Assistant supports the daily meal preparation and service processes at JurongHealth Campus, ensuring patients receive accurate and timely meals. This role involves coordinating with kitchen teams, handling patient menu orders, and maintaining service standards in a hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Generate daily meal summaries using EMOS and distribute them to kitchen sections for preparation and tray assembly.
• Create patient menu order chits from EMOS to guide kitchen staff.
• Answer phone inquiries related to food services.
• Maintain a daily report of events, complaints, and actions taken.
• Monitor the Food Trolley docking system during meal times and alert supervisors of any issues.
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum Primary School qualification.
• Certification in Basic Food Hygiene.
• Ability to work in a cold‑room environment.
• Good knowledge of food production and preparation.
