Freelance Market Research Analyst – Singapore

About the role

Euromonitor International, founded in 1972 and active in 16 countries and regions, is looking for detail-oriented, commercially savvy analysts to join regional and international research projects on freelance, project-based engagements. Key responsibilities

• Conduct secondary research into industries, companies and consumer trends.
• Execute store visits and retail audits to gather brand and product information.
• Carry out cold calls and trade interviews with companies and associations to extract qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Perform data analysis, calculations and market-sizing estimations.
• Interpret findings to develop clear, structured business insights and actionable recommendations.
• Prepare client-ready deliverables such as written analyses, presentations, databases and reports.

Required profile

• Professional fluency in English; local language proficiency is an added advantage.
• Exceptional numeracy and the ability to interpret, cross-reference and analyse data from diverse sources.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Prior experience in market research or consulting is highly desirable, including trade interviews, store visits, report writing and desk research.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Data analysis and market-sizing estimation.
