Freight Operations Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Freight Operations Coordinator to join our logistics team at Changi Business Park. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth import and export airfreight movements, supporting both internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Prepare, review, and file shipping documents such as airway bills and bills of lading.
• Track shipments and provide regular status updates to clients and team members.
• Monitor warehouse cargo handling to maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
• Enter and maintain accurate logistics data in the tracking system.
• Assist with permit applications and ensure customs compliance.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams to resolve issues or delays.
• Provide support to clients and colleagues on shipment queries and documentation.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in airfreight import/export operations.
• Familiarity with airfreight documentation and customs clearance processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience using freight operations software.
