French Language Classroom Teacher (Full‑time)

About the role

The Ministry of Education Language Centre is seeking a passionate French Language Classroom Teacher to join its full‑time faculty. You will inspire secondary‑level students (ages 13‑18) with the beauty of French language and culture, fostering both linguistic competence and cultural appreciation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess French language lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
• Utilise modern instructional strategies and educational technology to enhance student engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support student development.
• Participate in continuous professional development and stay current with best teaching practices.

Required profile

• University degree in French Language.
• Certificate in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent).
• Minimum three years of experience teaching French to secondary students, preferably in a public‑school setting.
• Strong communication skills in English (minimum CEFR B2).
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
