Full Stack Engineer (AI/ML & Data Pipelines)

About the role

Activate Interactive, a technology consultancy in Singapore, is hiring a Full Stack Engineer for its Co-Development Business Unit. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based at the Funan Office Tower. The role suits someone interested in data engineering and AI/ML, combining backend development, cloud technologies, DevOps automation and application security while learning to integrate AI/ML components and handle data pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end application development, integrating frontend, backend and cloud infrastructure
• Optimise full-stack CI/CD deployment strategies for automated releases
• Work with data engineers to implement data pipeline solutions in production
• Build high-performance backend services and APIs with reliability, security and observability
• Identify ways to use AI/ML to improve data pipelines
• Write clean, maintainable code, take part in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
• Support testing and debugging across environments

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and SQL and NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services, and familiarity with horizontal scaling, autoscaling and load balancing
• Basic understanding of frontend frameworks (React, Angular or Vue.js) and backend frameworks (Django, Node.js or Flask)
• Preferred: data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AI/ML RAG
