Full Stack Engineer, Growth

About the role

Stripe’s Growth team is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to build and ship experiments and product improvements across stripe.com and the Dashboard. You will help businesses discover, onboard, and grow with Stripe’s suite of financial products while ensuring a high‑quality self‑serve experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend APIs in Ruby that power responsive front‑end experiences.
• Implement front‑end features using React, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Build and iterate on ML‑driven recommendation engines, experimentation frameworks, and growth‑optimization tools.
• Collaborate with data scientists and product managers to translate growth hypotheses into technical implementations and A/B tests.
• Contribute to shared platforms and tools that enable rapid experimentation across growth initiatives.
• Debug production issues across the full stack and participate in on‑call rotations.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong coding skills and a track record of shipping reliable, well‑tested code.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineers, data scientists, and product teams.
