Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Capgemini is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to develop and maintain both backend services and frontend interfaces. You will work closely with senior engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high‑quality, user‑focused features.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend APIs, data pipelines, and integrations.
• Build and iterate on frontend components using the company design system.
• Act as acting Tech Lead during planned absences, facilitating team rituals and unblocking work.
• Serve as second‑in‑command to the Tech Lead, mentoring junior engineers and conducting code reviews.
• Own features end‑to‑end, from development through deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimates, and architectural discussions.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to meet performance and UX targets.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of software engineering experience with both frontend and backend exposure.
• Proven ability to own a feature from backend data model to polished frontend interaction.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborative, low‑ego attitude focused on team success.
