Full Stack Engineer – Web Applications (Hybrid, 1‑year contract)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Full Stack Engineer to join a government‑backed project on a 1‑year renewable contract. You will work in a hybrid setting, delivering end‑to‑end web applications while exploring new technologies and ensuring high quality, automation, and great user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop both frontend and backend web applications.
• Write automated functional and unit tests for all code.
• Build backend APIs and databases that support the applications.
• Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to design scalable solutions.
• Assist the DevOps Engineer with build and release automation.
• Participate in pair programming, code reviews, and collaborative feature delivery.
• Coordinate closely with Business Analysts, QA engineers, and UI/UX designers.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD).
• Comfortable working in Agile environments and using CI/CD pipelines.
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills; a collaborative team player.

Required skills

• React.js and Next.js for frontend development.
• Node.js for server‑side development.
• Jest or Mocha for JavaScript unit testing.
• Experience with cloud services such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Version control using Git.
• CI/CD pipeline implementation.
