Full Stack Software Engineer (1-year contract)

About the role

Activate Interactive is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join its Singapore team on a one-year contract, with the possibility of extension. You will work on end-to-end application development for mobile and web solutions that create positive impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications.
• Take ownership of full-stack development, integrating frontend, backend and cloud infrastructure.
• Implement modern frontend architectures using React, Next.js, Vue, Angular or Svelte.
• Build robust backend services and APIs with Node.js, Express, NestJS, Ruby on Rails, Spring Boot or Python frameworks.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure automated test coverage and resolve defects.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and work with DevOps to automate infrastructure provisioning and monitoring.
• Ensure application security across authentication, authorization and API layers.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to improve performance and productivity.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience with Git and modern branching workflows (GitFlow, trunk-based development).
• Strong knowledge of both frontend and backend development.
