Full Stack Software Engineer (1-year contract)

About the role

Activate Interactive is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for a one‑year contract. You will join a fast‑growing technology consultancy that delivers mobile, web and cloud solutions across Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. The role offers the chance to work on high‑impact projects that improve business efficiency and create positive social outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain scalable, high‑performance web applications.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of features, integrating frontend, backend and cloud infrastructure.
• Implement modern frontend architectures using React, Next.js, Vue, Angular or Svelte.
• Build robust backend services and APIs with Node.js, Express, NestJS, Ruby on Rails, Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI or Golang.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure automated test coverage and resolve defects.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and work with DevOps to automate infrastructure provisioning and cloud deployments.
• Ensure application security, including authentication, authorization and API protection.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to improve performance and developer productivity.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with Git and modern branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk‑based development).
• Ability to work in an agile, DevOps‑driven environment.
