About the role

The Write Connection (TWC) is seeking a passionate English & Writing Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to primary and secondary students. You will join a team of over 100 professionals dedicated to nurturing critical, compassionate thinkers.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 10‑12 classes per week, including covering for colleagues when needed.
• Deliver structured English lessons using in‑house curriculum materials.
• Create a safe, growth‑mindset learning environment.
• Mark and return student work promptly, providing constructive feedback.
• Communicate student progress to parents regularly.
• Participate in weekly professional development meetings.

Required profile

• Degree from a reputable university, preferably in Law, Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences or Communications.
• Strong academic record in English and General Paper.
• Passion for teaching English and writing to primary and secondary students.
• Willingness to adapt to TWC’s pedagogy and support diverse learner levels.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to a 5‑day work week, including weekends as scheduled.
