Funds Director

About the role

The Funds Director oversees the development and management of the organisation's fund services, contributing to strategic growth and client relationship expansion. The role is central to maintaining the client's market position in the global investment services sector. The employer is a leading investor services group providing end-to-end administration, accounting, reporting, regulatory and compliance solutions across multiple jurisdictions, employing more than 6,500 people and managing assets exceeding US$857 billion globally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the client-facing team and support business development, market analysis and strategic pursuits.
• Develop new business opportunities through market research and client engagement.
• Manage client relationships by assessing their needs and delivering suitable fund solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on proposals, RFPs and client presentations.
• Track performance, maintain accurate CRM records and analyse market intelligence.
• Communicate services effectively and professionally to prospective clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with strong accounting and/or financial services experience.
• At least 8 years of relevant client-facing experience in fund services or a related area.
• Comprehensive knowledge of closed-ended and open-ended funds, including private equity and hedge funds.
• High self-motivation, integrity and excellent organisational skills.

Required skills

• Effective documentation and IT skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
