FX Settlement Intermediate Analyst (Hybrid)

About the role

Citi's Markets business is looking for an Officer, FX Settlement Intermediate Analyst (hybrid, internal title: Securities & Derivatives Intermediate Analyst) based in Singapore. The role sits within the Operations - Transaction Services family and focuses on supporting APAC FX trading operations, controls and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Engage proactively with Singapore country and APAC regional stakeholders (Business, Technology, Finance/PCG, Operations) to support the business and clients trading in Markets products.
• Drive and implement sustainable processes, automation and migration initiatives, and ensure adherence to policies.
• Work closely with Operations Control to build an effective control framework meeting Audit, Compliance and Regulatory requirements, and deliver periodic presentations to external regulators.
• Help shape standardized operational workflows and service standards for new product launches by APAC FXLM, such as the NPAC process.
• Ensure dashboards, MIS and alerts are in place to manage risk and serve clients to a high standard.
• Prepare and publish MIS information for regular management updates.
• Focus on digitization and automation, eliminating manual touch points.
• Support the People and Engagement strategy, promote continuous improvement, and coach and mentor people.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 3-7+ years of experience in Tier 1 global financial institutions, including large projects delivering operational activities, especially in foreign exchange products.
• Strong risk management and control mindset, with awareness of external and internal best practices.
• Self-reliant, problem-solving, results-oriented, energetic, flexible and collaborative.
• Ability to build trust with stakeholders as an advisor and partner, with a clear client orientation.
