Geospatial Solution Architect

About the role

Kyndryl is looking for a Geospatial Solution Architect in Singapore to provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS) platforms and services. The role shapes geospatial technology strategy, drives platform modernization, cloud adoption and architecture governance, and works with business stakeholders, technology teams and external partners to deliver secure, scalable and resilient solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and govern enterprise geospatial solutions using ArcGIS Enterprise technologies.
• Lead platform modernization, including upgrades, migrations and cloud transformation projects.
• Define architecture standards, governance frameworks and best practices for GIS platforms and services.
• Design secure, scalable and resilient GIS environments across on-premises, cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
• Collaborate with business, infrastructure, cybersecurity and application teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for architecture reviews, solution design and complex problem resolution.
• Support platform performance, operational readiness, disaster recovery planning and continuous service improvement.
• Partner with technology vendors and service providers to ensure successful solution delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise GIS solutions.
• Experience leading solution architecture, platform modernization, migration or transformation initiatives.
• Experience with cloud or hybrid environments such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Strong understanding of enterprise platform architecture, security, governance and operational best practices.
• Experience integrating GIS platforms with enterprise systems, applications and services.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical teams.
• Preferred: experience in government, transportation, utilities, infrastructure, engineering or consulting; GIS cloud migration experience; knowledge of geodatabase technologies; vendor partnership experience; scripting or automation tools; relevant GIS, cloud or architecture certifications.
