GLO Logistics Sourcing Manager (Juniper)

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a GLO Logistics Sourcing Manager (Juniper) in Singapore. The role is designed as onsite, with the expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office. It covers managing commodities and categories worldwide, including goods and services that support the company and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commodities and categories worldwide, including goods and services supporting the company and its customers
• Set category strategies, develop the supply base, and handle supplier contracting, qualification and quality processes
• Develop procurement strategies, policies and tactics to reduce supply costs and meet demand, quality and revenue goals
• Lead a complex, international, cross-functional supply chain team and report results to business executives
• Meet with stakeholder executives to shape supply chain strategy and engage with market leaders
• Use supply chain, business and financial modelling tools, and lead supplier selection and supplier base optimisation
• Negotiate and complete contracts with complex, critical suppliers and manage their day-to-day operations
• Drive risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management and operations improvement strategies
• Identify contract risks, draft custom contract solutions and advise executive leaders on contract risk

Required profile

• First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred
• Typically 7-8 years of experience in logistics procurement or regional/global supply chain functions
• Experience with surface (land) transportation
• Excellent understanding of global logistics sourcing processes, the industry and highly complex suppliers
• Executive-level communication, leadership and influencing skills across cross-functional teams

• Hands-on business application skills such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Coupa (preferred)
• AI-enabled solutions and supply chain modelling skills
• Ability to negotiate RFQs, interpret legal documents and implement provider agreements
