Global Efficiency & C-IMP Lead

About the role

This global role is the primary architect of ALAM's efficiency and excellence, with direct authority and accountability for raising Continuous Improvement (C-IMP) maturity and delivering verifiable results on all efficiency projects worldwide. It bridges high-level strategy and shop-floor execution, reporting to the Senior Director, Industrial Management and covering all ALAM sites in the US and APAC.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Global C-IMP Roadmap and standardize C-IMP tools and methodologies across regions, prioritizing high-impact projects that save costs, shorten lead times and improve quality.
• Influence senior leadership and local managers to adopt C-IMP principles, and lead a Global C-IMP Community of Practice.
• Design and deliver training and workshops, and support project owners at risk of missing targets.
• Mentor country C-IMP leads and project owners, and define and monitor global KPIs.
• Run regular C-IMP audits or maturity assessments and report progress on efficiency projects to the Executive Committee.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, Process Engineering or Project Management in a global, multi-site environment.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable financial results (e.g. millions in OPEX savings).
• Demonstrated change management experience and experience working across cultures and time zones.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Required skills

• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt with advanced Lean training (5S, SMED, VSM, Kaizen); candidates not yet certified must be willing to obtain it.
• Statistical Process and Quality Control experience.
• Understanding of financial measurements in a Lean flow-throughput context.
