Global EHS Senior Construction Program Manager

About the role

Micron is looking for a Global EHS Senior Construction Program Manager to lead safety and environmental health programs across its construction programs. The role covers program leadership, compliance, audits, incident investigation and mentoring, with an emphasis on multi-site and multinational environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead construction EHS programs, standards and procedures, and integrate EHS criteria into project planning, contractor management and pre-task planning.
• Plan and run EHS compliance audits, track findings, support corrective actions and verify closure.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents, lead investigations and root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze safety performance data, identify trends and recommend risk-reduction actions.
• Ensure timely completion of EHS reports, permits and records to meet country, state/province and local requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders to turn business objectives into EHS plans and resourcing, and advise on hazard identification and risk assessment for high-risk work.
• Coach and mentor engineers and technicians, and support global EHS training and change management.
• Use AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency and share AI-enabled improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, safety, industrial hygiene, environmental health or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 15 years of experience leading construction EHS programs, including hazard assessment, incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Proven ability to work across functions and geographies in a multi-cultural environment.
• Experience with large capital projects across countries and jurisdictions, and with global programs and training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Professional certification such as CSP, CIH or NEBOSH is an added advantage.
