Global Head of Information Security

About the role

We are looking for a strategic Global Head of Information Security to shape and protect our enterprise-wide digital assets. This senior leader will define the security vision, align it with business goals, and ensure robust protection across multiple markets, including China.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy, policies, and governance framework.
• Lead cybersecurity operations such as threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
• Design and maintain security architecture in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to embed security into business processes and technology projects.
• Manage risk assessments, audits, and compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Oversee third‑party and vendor security risk management and due‑diligence.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing security team.
• Drive security awareness and training programs organization‑wide.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 12‑15 years of IT security experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of creating and executing enterprise security strategies.
• Experience managing security across multiple regions, especially the China market.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at senior leadership level.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS.
• Familiarity with China‑specific regulations (CSL, PIPL, MLPS) is a plus.
• Professional certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CISA preferred.
