About the role

The Global Sourcing Manager leads the development and execution of category strategies for assigned spend areas, delivering long‑term business value through supplier management, commercial excellence, and strategic sourcing. This senior individual‑contributor role acts as a subject‑matter expert, influencing cross‑functional stakeholders and mitigating risks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own sourcing and category strategies for global spend, leveraging market and supplier expertise.
• Lead cross‑functional sourcing initiatives to optimize total cost of ownership, supply continuity, quality, and innovation.
• Establish and manage strategic supplier relationships, performance frameworks, and commercial agreements.
• Design innovative negotiation and supplier engagement approaches for complex business challenges.
• Support new product introductions and strategic initiatives, ensuring supplier capability and readiness.
• Identify and mitigate supplier, commercial, operational, and continuity risks.
• Drive productivity, cost optimization, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• BA/BS in a relevant discipline; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, or supplier management experience.
• Proven project leadership on complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
• Strong financial acumen and commercial decision‑making capability.
• Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed environment.
